British Airways will charge an average of £3,000 one-way from London Docklands to New York for each of the 32 flatbed seats on a A318 plane that can accommodate 100 passengers. The service started operating on 29th September 2009.

British Airways will fly between London City Airport and New York JFK , a route that includes a short refuelling stop at Shannon in Ireland as City Airport’s runway is too short to handle that Airbus model with a full fuel payload.
