https://youtube.com/shorts/8wGvF-5SlBI I strolled past pumpkins fat and round, Their candle-eyes aglow, Past the Well of Souls that hums at night Where whispers softly flow. The scarecrow grinned with button eyes, A hat upon his head— He bowed just once and tipped his straw Then slumped like he was dead. 'Round the bend and back again, Through cobbled paths and moonglow glen, With frogs that croak and toads that spin, And tales that never end. A troll beneath the old stone bridge Asked toll in rhymes and dreams, I paid with song, he let me pass— Still echoes through my seams. The Blueberry Patch was oddly still, With giggles in the dew, I plucked a berry, turned around— A mushroom blinked at you. At Potions of Ale, I raised a cup To travelers passing through, The barkeep poured a mug of foam That shimmered green and blue. The Traveler’s Stand had riddled maps, And boots from every land, I left a note: “Beware the toad— He sings, and takes your hand!”
