Mikro

In 2023, the Mikro started to materialise through introducing a common accounting (virtual) currency in all of the member states. In 2024, it was turned into a fully-fledged conventible currency, when mikro notes and coins were issued, while the phaseout of national currencies in the mikrozone (consisting by then of 0 member states) was initiated. The mikrozone (constituted by the IU member states which have adopted the mikro) has since grown to all member states.
