What should I say in my description?

The most important part about a company or any personal or corporate project isn’t the project itself but the people, the purpose and the dream behind it. The human part that gives life and importance to the things we do. You could be making a project that is amazing in many senses but without a vision and without holding meaning it can’t last long, which is why the first thing to talk about in your description is what moves you to do what you do and what is the meaning and the purpose behind your project, what do you dream to achieve in the future and for what reason.

Talking about meaning is what usually steals people's hearts since the can feel identified with you and your personal dreams. For example, if you want to become a student of exchange then you can reach those who have wanted to do the same but maybe couldn’t for some reason or another and want to be able to give the chance to someone else who remind them of themselves. Same with a project you initiated as an artist, many people out there are looking forward to supporting others in the same niche, hoping that their own careers will boost with the commercialization and popularization of an art or music movement, is a good way to appeal to the needs and good of others too.

Talk about yourself

After talking about the purpose you can continue to talk about yourself. In this part of the description (as in every part of it) is very important that you are honest. Communication is delicate and people are not easily fooled by your intent of showing off something or someone that you aren’t for real. If people notice that, they will run away from you and distrust you and the work you do. So talk about what you do and what makes you special with sincerity, tell people (without disclosing sensitive personal information) who you are and what you are passionate about.
