He also describes how our household appliances could heat food and make coffee on their own and mentions cars that could drive themselves using "robotic brains”

But those things aren’t as far from reality anymore. Now it seems that we laugh about the naivety in which we used to view the opportunities of the future since coming to reality we have changed to actually invent useful things that transformed our daily lives and continue to do so.
